So what about the soil layers, the arrangement of stones, the lack of
evidence as evidence ...?  This gets back to what we perceive "artifacts"
to be and we tend to forget that negative evidence is a wonderful thing.
Reminds me of those who do prelim testing around an open cellar hole and
walk away because they didn't find any "artifacts" when the biggets
artifact of all was tripping them up all along.
