By one of life's little coincidences...

Apparently the Society for Post-Medieval Archaeology
and the Association for Industrial Archaeology are
holding a joint conference in Bristol (UK) on
Thursday 14th to Saturday 16th October.  The conference
organisers are David Cranstone and Marilyn Palmer.
I won't bother copying out the entire letter (and I'm
a miserable typist anyway), but many of the themes of
the conference address issues discussed on this list
in the last couple of weeks.  People interested in
presenting a paper are asked to contact Dr. Palmer at
