#1-3 on your list look good.  What does "refer peds cards" mean?

Sounds like mom may also have oversupply.  Treatment--one-sided feeds.
If she is already doing that, have her keep baby at same breasts for all
feeds for 3 hours, using cold packs or cabbage on opposite breast as
needed.  Have her count diapers, to be sure she isn't cutting supply too
much.  The time on one breast can be lengthened if oversupply persists
or shortened if supply dips too much.

For serious oversupply not amenable to feeding management alone, sage
can be take as tea or in capsules.  (Maybe she's already doing better if
she likes turkey dressing with her Thanksgiving dinner.)
