Just a quick note on the use of Echinacea while breastfeeding. I have both
read, and been told by a certified herbalist that Echinacea by itself is safe,
but not when it is combined with Goldenseal. Goldenseal, from what I
understand, is commonly mixed with Echinacea as a recommended supplement for
those with cold/flu symptoms, but the Goldenseal is a blood purifier and not
recommended for pregnant or lactating moms.
