I am seeking information on projects involving testing or full-scale
excavation at CCC camps, especially in the western U.S. Recent work at a CCC
dump in central Idaho earned us a large collection of cans (rusted into
millions of pieces), utilitarian dinnerware, hair tonic bottles, and bone. I
am particularly interested in some comparative data on meat selection. But
I'd also appreciate hearing from anyone with information about how the U.S.
Quartermaster Corps distributed dinnerware to CCC camps/operations. Thanks in
advance.
