Why Not Be the State Archeologist of Kansas?

You could be a leader in collecting, interpreting, and educating others about the exciting and evolving story of  Plains archeology in Kansas.  The Kansas State Historical Society is looking for an ambitious State Archeologist to build a program of significance and reputation for the state's archeological heritage.  The position holds great research and educational opportunities for the right person.  The State Archeologist has visibility and a position of responsibility which can advance archeology within the state, region, and nation. Required - a graduate degree in archeology (preferred - Ph.D.with experience in Great Plains archeology).

Salary $31,595.20 - $44,470.40; excellent state benefits.
