anybody know the whereabouts of one onhan tunca - i have a vague belief he(?)
might be belgian, but not even sure where i came by such suspicions - wrote
something on archaeological stratigraphy back in the early 1980s and criticised
Harris and was supposed to be working on some kind of a Workshop for defining
archaeostratigraphical terms or something, but... anything more known or been
heard of him and his schemes?
        checked: last i have is liege, 1981: about a workshop to produce a
"guide to archaeostratigraphic classification and terminology" with such useful
stuff as "chronostratigraphy" ("organizing the sequences of strata in units
charachterized by their duration and their temporal relationships") and
"ethnostratigraphy" ("organization of strata in units characterized by the
classes of artifacts they contain") - and no, i'm not making this up...
