all i have to go on is personal experience, but my daughter also did a lot
of clicking as a newborn. it WAS improoper latch, but i also didn't suffer
from sore nipples, she gained beautifully and had plenty of wet diapers and
stools, etc. i did relatch her whenever it started ... . so if htis mom
has been nursing the whole time without relatching, and baby is still
gaining welol, etc., i suppose it COULd be something else, but my vote
still goes to improper latch. as for fixing it? it seems that problems
could arise later on from improtper latch that aren't evident right at
first. i'd try to fix it. jmho.
