I thought I would mention that I once wrote the chief of radiology at
a hospital where they had told the mother she couldn't breastfeed
after IVP.  I went through the usual reasons.  He wrote me back that
he *agreed* with me, but since the package insert says the mother
should not feed for 24 hours, that's what they had to say.  Actually
they didn't have to say that, but just to let you know how medicolegal
issues impinge on the welfare of the mother mother and baby.
