I am interested if anybody knows how long milk has to stay in a
toddler's stomach in order to get digested. The toddler in question
is exclusively breastfed at 13 months. She has a bad cold with lots
of mucous and coughing (laryngitis and maybe bronchitis). She is
gagging and throwing up after almost all nursing sessions. She is
still having wet diapers, but less than normal. The mom wonders how long
there has to be between nursing and vomiting for the milk to get
digested. This is clearly not a stomach virus.
Thanks.
Susanna
