I can tellyou is...

  avonex is interferon beta -la... interferons are a family of naturally
occuring protiens and glycoproteins  produced by eukaryotic cells in response
to viral infections.  interferon beta-la is type of interferon.

  peak is about 3-15 hours with a 10 hour elimiation half life.
