Vivian ,  I doubt that there is anything you could tell the MD to
convince him otherwise. Breastmilk jaundice does not occur untill the 7
th or so of life. We just had 2 babies in our nursery , jaundiced at 4 /
5 days of age, admitting bili for one baby was 21.7 and 12 hours later ,
after double phototherapy { wallaby and overhead } it was down to 13.1 .
I feel so bad for theses moms when peds tell them this old and outdated
information.....
