 I have also always been intrigued by the seeming discrepancy of intake
between bf and bottlefed babies.  Don't they tell people who are trying
to diet to eat more slowly because the signals from the stomach which
indicate fullness take about 10 minutes to reach the brain? (or the
chemicals to signal satiation take that long to start circulating, not
sure of the mechanism)  So the notion that bottlefed babies eat more on
average because they eat faster has a lot of merit.
