I am reposting this because I got a couple of very nice personal
story replies but no numbers.  The woman with whom I am working on
this matter wants the hard data.  Again:  she is 40, bf two children
a total of 48 mos, and her dr. has advised removal of ovaries.  Cause
for concern:  her mother (who did not bf at all) recently had a 30
lb. tumor removed, and her two aunts (who did bf an unspecified time)
both have had ovarian cancer.  Dr. sees this as preventive measure.
She needs info to better confer with Dr. and make intelligent choice
about this.  Help, please!
