With regards to the NIH study of St. John's Wort, one question that comes to
mind is who is funding the study?

The presently on-going study call Women's Health Initiative which is looking
at menopause, along with other aging concerns of women is being funded by
the makers of Premarin.  As we know, these sponsorships do matter when
evaluating the outcome of the studies.

Dr. Nice at NIH, could you find out this information? And perhaps suggest
that breastfeeding mothers be included in the study.
