A dad of a new baby came to my office to purchase some supplies for his
wife. She had an unusual first name. I asked him how she spelled her
name. He looked at me blankly and said, "I don't know." He tried
writing her name on paper and still was not sure how to spell it.
Something about the situation tickled a funny bone. I started to laugh.
I tried my best to muffle my laughter into a cough.

When he opened his checkbook, his eyes opened wide and he said, "Now I
remember!" Her name was printed on their checks. Poor guy, he was so
embarrassed. Parenthood is hard when one is sleep-deprived!
