Great Day! my fingers are crossed:

Born 1730 on Sept 25 7# 8oz Dc wt 7-3 Fri, (circed a DC) wt 7-3 today, plus
6+ wets 6+ seedy amber colored Bms!!!!!! seen with my own eyes! Brf Q 2-3
hrs......lower lobes below incision lines less engorged but thickened and
lumpy (it was so odd to examine and express areolae without mom reacting to
touch and palpation of plugged? thickened areas.....) obviously severed 4th
intercostal nerve tract! how will she know if there is a problem with fow
after this acute phase is over? I advised mom to look and palpate
frequently BID or with each Brf when possible, it could be dangerous to
have no sensation....

Mom is breastfeeding both breasts about 20 mins each I also gave her
permission to switch back if she felt baby "needed" more. She plans to
continue cabbage leaf crescent over area of incision, with periodic frozen
diaper, is planning to have Grmom assist in visual inspection of breasts
and she is taking Red Raspberry tea per CNM advise for PP bleeding (not
excessive) I am not familiar with Red Rasp tea and told her a good herbal
was Mothers's Milk Tea blend......

I am thrilled to have such a good start with a "twice mutilated" mother she
is on top of the world so far.....but we are not out of the woods... If
any have other ideas let me know and Thank you Dr Newman and Pat Gima, and
others for your support.
