Just got home from the Illinois State BF Task Force. The West Chicago group
reported on a conference they held, & how they enticed drs. to come. Great
ideas! Including:

Offer CMEs (continuing ed credits for docs--highly prized, needed for
licensure?)
Give them something (this group gave each participant a copy of Dr. Hale's
book)
Have another doctor call and PERSONALLY invite them. This group had Dr.
Gartner call!
Get the nurse practitioners and midwives (if any) to come, hopefully the docs
will follow, at the very least these ancillary primary care providers will
have updated info!

Good luck! Our hospital hosted a breakfast for doctors a few years ago, with
Dr. Neifert. Only had 3 drs. come. Sigh. Wish we'd tried some of these
strategies. Let us know how it goes!
