Hi Val,
Boy she was a rude one, wasn't she? I would think that it would be
appropriate for that particular midwife's supervisor (does she have one?) to
be very frank with her about her rudeness to you and the rest of the people
attending the seminar. Also appropriate would be a letter of apology to YOU
for her rude behavior.
How sad that someone cannot be professional in such a situation. SOunds
like you did a great job of holding your tongue! Pat yourself on the back
and know that you did your best. It seems there is one in almost every
crowd who thinks they alreasy know everything they need to know, and can't
be bothered to listen and maybe learn something new! Too bad...
