This a a post from the PEDTALK list that I'm forwarding to LACTNET for a
reply. Neither Hale for Briggs has Retin A listed. I replied that I doubted
that topically applied Retin A would be absorbed in any significant quantity
and that the benefit of breastfeeding would far outweigh the theoretical risk
from topical Retin A, but said I'd forward the message to some experts for
comment.

Does anyone know about the safety of a nursing mom using Retin-A. The PDR
gives the usual "no information available" disclaimer and I didn't see any
other information in my other references.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
