Hi Folks:
   SB Park, KJ Lindahl, GO Temnycky et al in their article "The Effect of
Pregnancy on Corneal Curvature"  (Contact Lens Associ of Opthal J 1992;
18:256-259) speak about the ocular changes during pregnancy that may include
problems with contact lenses. Corneal curvature increases during the
pregnancy, then decreases postpartum. Prolactin may cause corneal edema,
although there may be other factors involved. The recommendation is made to
wait for new glasses or lenses until complete weaning.
