I have several questions about tongue tie and clipping.
Hope the questions don't stimulate the heat that the "circ thread" did.

I just have several questions about doing the procedure: how painful it is to
the neonate, how soon after the procedure infants nurse without discomfort.
 I haven't done the procedure frequently - have seen infants nurse
successfully with short frenulums.

Just thinking as an adult, when I cut something in my mouth, this is very
uncomfortable and I don't eat well for a while.

BTW apologies also for the empty post -I'm still plagued with bilateral
carpal tunnel syndrome with thumb tenosynovitis (9 weeks after delivery).
 Just purchased a new ergonomic breakaway keyboard.  It is taking some
getting used to!
