I apologize for this repeat inquiry, but I deleted all traces of the
replies to the request for information on dating ordnance.  I remember the
referral to the U.S. Army Ordnance Museum, Aberdeen Proving Ground,
however, I cannot remember if there was another agency that could provide
help/information (was it a division of the National Park Service  ?).  I've
just been asked to help with a project involving ordnance and may find the
reference handy.
