Help. I'm looking for references on 19th-century wood coffin
construction. My interest is related to a site recently dug by us. My
search for information is pretty narrowly focused on descriptions of the
particulars of crafting wood coffins, particularly hexagonal
("shouldered") coffins and gabled lid coffins built between the 1780s and
the mid 19th century. If it helps, we're dealing with a cemetery in Virginia.

Thank you!
