Kathleen asked me to re-post info on my homepage:  LACTNEWS On-Line.  This
is a page designed to promote the individual projects and conferences and
materials of lactation professionals world-wide. Each post includes (if
possible) a "jump" directly to the person advertising the
service/product/offering.  This allows users to directly contact advertisers
if they want to register or order. If the "product" is part of a
profit-making venture, there is a small, one-time ($10.00) posting fee.  If
the post is sponsored by a non-profit group, then I will convert it to html
language and put it on-line for free.  A stated policy of LACTNEWS On-Line
is adherence to the WHO Code, and I will not knowingly accept any ad which
promotes directly or indirectly any interests of any company or individual
in violation of the Code.  LACTNEWS also provides a links page to other
global organizations supporting breastfeeding.

Kathleen is right:  Lactnet is not a good place to promote stuff.  It is a
forum for discussion, not marketing.  LACTNEWS was created to allow LCs to
market.
