Debbie--There are many good sources, but Kenneth Lewis' short report "The
Middleton Place Privy" has always served me well. It is copiously
illustrated, thoroughly explained and only costs about five bucks! from SC
INst. of Archaeology and Anthropology, 1321 Pendleton St., Columbia, S.C.
