My son (breastfed for 3 years) picked up my moods like blotting
paper, even after he weaned. Sometimes his behaviour was a cue to me
that I was due. While I have heard lots of babies fussing and
feeding more around the time of mother's menstuation (some around
ovulation), I suspect tantrums and moods are more the result of the
close relationship breastfed children have with their mothers.
