I found a copy of Time magazine today to look at the letter from
California - and, surprise, surprise, found my own letter! Obviously,
they publish different letters in different editions. This was the only
letter regarding breastfeeding in our (Australian) edition:
<Your advice on what parents can do to enhance brain development in
children omits something that can raise I.Q., improve visual acuity and
more - yet save the family money. It's simple, naturally: feed the baby
yourself. How about a cover on breastfeeding? I'd like to see that!
Dr Lisa H. Amir
Melbourne.>
Thanks to whoever made the comment about "feeding the baby yourself".
This is something I SAY, but had not thought to WRITE previously.
