Yes, Leslie, DITTO!

The most profound experience of this type for me was working with a mom
through six pregnancies. Every pregnancy, we discussed pros of BF, every
time she chose ABM....until the seventh child was born. She tried BF,
loved it, and became one of our WIC office's greatest spokeswomen. She
said, "I knew this was the last baby. I'd heard so many good things about
BF from you WICettes through the years, I finally decided to give it a try.
I LOVE it. I used to have to drag myself out of bed early every morning
to go through the house collecting & cleaning bottles. Now, I just roll
over and nurse the baby."

Curious how the "reformed" formula feeders are some of the most vocal
lactivists I know. She has absolutely no concern about stating flat out
how wonderful BF was, and how silly she was not to try before seventh babe.

When I have the BF promotion blues, I think of this mom and all I learned
from her.

Peace to you all in the New Year!
