Perhaps, but the detail to costume was magnificent and, to be honest,
didn't Bradford, upon whose book the series was based, use as a main
source the diaries of Johanes Burkardt (sp?) who held office through a
number of papal reigns.  Granted, J.B. wrote down a lot of fodder for the
gossip mill, but then again, one can learn from that too.  At any rate,
again, if there is a source for this series, please advise.
