Could someone please fill me in on abbreviations?  What is a PC, LCE
etc.?  The only abbreviations with which I am totally comfortable are
academic credentials such as BA, MD and those initials we commonly
use in lactation consulting circles, LLL and IBCLC.  Even many of the
hospital abbreviations and medical abbreviations are not common to all
countries.   So please take a little extra time and spell all your
abbreviations out ONCE in every post as I will do below.
