I'm about a day behiind on lactnet - but, I too thought of dairy allergy with
the chronic ear baby.  Positioning probalby not a factor, as I'm sure breasts
were the same with the first 2 children and she positioned them the same.
 Anyway, I don't believe lying down is a problem.
I think allergy is probably the cause - just needs to find out what is
different with this baby.  Did she consume more dairy during pregnancy?  what
about smoking? Is baby in day care or exposed to cig. smoke?
Sometimes I wonder if with 3 kids now the house is just much more dusty!
