Cindy,
We are using fenugreek capsules as well as alfalfa tablets to help increase milk
supply. It seems to take quite a bit of fenugreek to work. We are suggesting 5
caps morning, 5 caps afternoon, and 5 caps bedtime to total 15 caps per day.
The mother will have a maple syrup scent if she is taking enough. I do not know
enough about fenugreek to know if it also comes in seeds, but a physician from
India mentioned earlier in the week that eating fenugreek seeds was a common
practice in her homeland. I did not have an opportunity to have her elaborate.

If alfalfa tablets are used, be sure that the mother is not on blood thinners as
the alfalfa is high in vit. K. Best guess on alfalfa dosage is 4 tablets
morning and 4 at bedtime.

Most mothers see improvement in 24 hours.

Let me know how this works with your mothers. I am clearly up front with
mothers that I do not know much about this but that it has helped some other
mothers.
