Dr. Hale,
  A mom with a 15-18 mo has a large fibroid tumor which has caused severe
hemorrhaging.  Her OB has prescribed Luprin (sp?) to shrink the tumor, but
has told her that the medication will dry up her milk supply.  She took
Luprin once before her pregnancy, but it was ineffective.  I can find no
information in the books I have.  What are the side effects of this
medication and is there something better, considering that it wasn't
effective the first time she took it?
