For those interested in identifying pollen pellets by color, there are two
books on the subject that deal with the subject. The oldest is Dorothy
Hodge's Pollen Loads of the Honey Bees. The newer is William Kirk's A colour
guide to the pollen loads of the honey bee.
Wicwas Press has both in stock, but the Hodges book has been in print since
the 1950's and is in most large science or ag libraries. Note that both
titles are by British authors.
