I just want to respond by pointing out that the original context of the
discussion (and my subsequent post) was of the reasons that HCP's were giving
to mothers as to why they "must" wean! It was not the mother's own reasons,
nor would I want to attack that, either; I'm in agreement with you there. I
still think that it would be fun to gather all of the inane things that
mothers *have been told* as to why they "must" wean. If this comes about, I
am thinking that any proceeds might be used to help get LLL's database online
for all of *us* to access.  I wrote to LLL a year ago, and they were
absolutely thrilled with the idea of getting their database online; funds
appeared to be the one major obstacle. I have spent the last year pondering
how we could help them raise some money towards this end and help ourselves
in the process......
