I'm sorry,  I misread Andreas question in that this mother was using Hytrin
for a urinary tract problem.  Hytrin can also be used for urinary
problems(benign prostatic hyperplasia in men) and other urinary symptoms in
addition to high blood pressure.  However,  the outcome for the infant is
still the same.
