Yes that story is true, it was in the LA Times about a month or so back.  The
woman had twins and was on pain medication which made her sleepy.  The nurse
brought in her babies and she was nursing them and then fell asleep.  When the
nurse came in later one twin was not breathing well.  The mother felt that she
should not have been left alone with the twins while on the medication (even
thougth she had been previously left alone to feed them) and that it was the
hospital's fault that her baby died.  They were suing the hospital.  BTW the
headline for the was something like Breastfeeding Kills Baby type of thing,
making it sound like breastfeeding, not overlaying, was the cause of the baby's
death.
