A quick note to all those who have requested the Macassar Oil
references/summary... I haven't forgotten you! It'll be along...
 
Fiolet pipes: I was searching some pipe references I have, and stumbled
across a reference to two Fiolet pipes from Quebec. The article is:
Walker, I.C. (1971) Nineteenth-Century Clay Tobacco Pipes in Canada.
Ontario Archaeology No. 16, pp. 19-35.
