This is to Natalie Shenk and others who have struggles with physicians over
frenotomies. Dr. Evelyn Jain from Calgary (Alberta, Canada) has a new video
out on the topic. I just was at the Grant MacEwan Alberta Breastfeeds
conference that Janine mentioned earlier and Dr. Jain did a session on
tongue-tie. She showed the video as well. It's a great resource as it shows
the actual procedure, including how to palpate the frenulum, and also shows
how much blood is the result of the clipping (not much). It's aimed at
physician, but could also be used as an education tool with parents about to
have a frenotomy done.
