Welcome all from the subarctic,
Quick question: When was linoleum invented, and/or attain popular
use? This summer's excavations at a couple of early 20th century
mining townsites revealed, among other things, a double-room long
cabin foundation, one room of which had an intact spruce pole floor
covered with linoleum.
Thank you for the consideration,
