I've been watching the popularity of soy abm being recommended by local
physicians for "lactose intolerance," which is suddenly a common diagnosis
here (among newborns...of northern European extraction...hmmm)...and I have
been worrying about the developing infants' brains.

I think I'll share the material you cited with the local peds group.  BTW,
the book
(Tsang RC, Nichols BL, editors, Nutrition during Infancy, St. Louis, 1988,
Mosby) is very good.
