On November 1, 1996, from 1:30-4:00 pm, ACRA will host a special workshop on
OSHA Health and Safety Training for CRM Practitioners. Two experts from
Woodward-Clyde, OSHA Specialist Cathy Carr-Clinch, and Architectural
Historian Mary Sayers, will provide an overview of the health and safety
concerns that cultural resource professionals are likely to encounter in your
everyday work. They will address the interests of architects, architectural
historians, historians, and archaeologists. Topics include an introduction to
the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA); chemical, physical and
biological hazards in the office and field; and trenching and confined
spaces. The course is only $50.00. We hope all of you will attend.
