Job description:
 
Assist in program responsibilities concerning the review of the impact of
federal undertakings on archaeological resources;
 
Review information submitted by federal agencies to determine eligibility
of archaeological resources for listing in the National Register of
Historic Places; prepare Determination of Eligibility forms for signature
by program director; review National Register of Historic Places
nominations for archaeological properties;
 
Review project information submitted by federal agencies to assess
project impact on significant archaeological resources;
 
Review Cultural Resources Management reports, environmental impact
statements, and other documents related to the protection of
archaeological resources;
 
Monitor Historic Preservation Fund grant-assisted projects for
archaeological resource identification, evaluation, and protection;
 
Assist in administering provisions of Missouri's unmarked human burials law;
 
Assist with Unmarked Human Burials Commission meetings.
