Glass walking sticks were commonly produced at late 19th-century and
early 20th-century glassworks. Adeline Pepper's The Glass Gaffers of NJ,
sorry I don't have the date of publication, discusses them and other
after-work products. Examples can be found at the East Brunswick Museum,
East Brunswick, NJ-the canes there were produced in the first decades of
this century at the Brookfield Glass Insulator Plant. Other places glass
canes may be found include the Vineland Historical Society, Vineland, NJ, and th
e glass museum at Wheaton
Village, Millville, NJ. Best of luck with your research!
