Sorry if someone has answered this, I'm behind and got kicked off, so
probably missed something.
I  had a similiar  cholestrol question and Dr. Elizabeth Williams
answered it.  To paraphrase, lactation doesn't effect LDL but does
raise HDL.  therefore, it is increased total cholestrol.  JAMA Feb 17,
1989, VOL261.
