Hello all!

I belatedly realized I had been guilty of a breach in Lactnettiquette by
posting a response before posting an introduction.  Better late than never...

My name is Penny Piercy; I live in Bloomington, IN with my husband and 2
1/2 year old son.  I am a full-time mom and part-time student (currently
working slowly on a Masters of Library Science after getting an M.A. in
English and abandoning work on my English Ph.D. post-baby and just
pre-dissertation).  I was accredited as a LLLL in July of this year and I
am also interested in the possibility of becoming an LC at some point.  I
am curious about the relationship between work as an LLLL and as an LC,
especially since there seem to be a substantial number of women who
do/have done both--I hope to post a formal query on this later.

I enjoy LACTNET very much (although I do skip the limericks, I'm afraid)
and have learned so much in the 2 weeks or so I've been subscribed.
