I agree with Sue Moxley that panic attacks are a symptom of postpartum
depression, and sometimes are the most noticeable symptom. (reference:
Postpartum Depression and Anxiety: A Self-Help Guide For Mothers, by the
Pacific Postpartum Support Society).
