I am working on a text on zooarchaeology, and I wish to include a chapter
on zooarchaeological evidence for social relations. I am familiar with
at least some of the literature on ante-bellum slave diet, etc., but I
suspect that there is more out in the historical literature that this
stone-age type is aware of. I would deeply appreciate (and acknowledge)
and citations, leads, or reprints which address this area. Also, I
am interested in whether anyone has done work which incorporates culinary
technology and practices + faunal analysis.

Thanks in advance.
