Hi All!
Good friend Karen Evon, IBCLC has a question she'd like to ask.
She has a client, 40 years old, 3 kids all BF, she BF for a total of 5 years
and last lactated 18-24 mo. ago.
She is adopting a BB due July 27. She will be pumping for the month before
the BB arrives 3 to 4 times per day. She is not taking any hormones. After
BB arrives she will be using an SNS with BB at breast. Her Pediatrician is
going to prescribe Reglen for her after the BB is born to increase her
prolactin levels.
Karen is concerned that Reglen will not be appropriate for her since she is
the ADOPTING mom. She would like any comments and concerns any of you may
have. Also any advice from those who may have had this same experience.
Thanks!!
Janet
